Aberdeen International Airport Named Airport of the Year at the Scottish Transport Awards

That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen International Airport, which has recently been named Scottish airport of the year; understands that the prize recognises excellence or significant improvement in the overall performance of the airport or the facilities available for passengers over the previous 12 months; notes that nominees were encouraged to submit statistics to demonstrate how the airport has performed, as well as customer satisfaction results as part of the process; understands that Aberdeen International Airport also received praise from the judges of the Scottish Transport Awards for the airport's innovation during the COVID-19 pandemic; notes that the 2022 Scottish Transport Awards took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow on 29 September 2022, and commends the hard work of all staff at Aberdeen International Airport.
