That the Parliament congratulates Forfar-based, Nicola McBride, on winning the Best Volunteer in Women and Girls’ Football at the Scottish FA Grassroots Awards; notes that Nicola is chairperson at Forfar Farmington Football Club, a club that her father founded over 40 years ago; understands that Nicola has driven the club forward in the past 10 years, particularly the women and girls section, which now has over 200 participants; further understands that Nicola was an integral part of setting up an under 19s performance programme for the youth of the club, who aspire to play at an elite level; commends her efforts in creating the newly-formed Forfar Community Football Trust, a charity that uses football as a means of community engagement and to promote physical and mental wellbeing; further commends all of the coaches, committee members and volunteers at Forfar Farmington Football Club that work with Nicola, and wishes them every success as they continue to grow the club.
