Commending the Fundraising Efforts of Stewart Anderson for The Stroke Association

That the Parliament congratulates stroke survivor, Stewart Anderson, for his terrific fundraising efforts for The Stroke Association last month; commends his work of organising a 120-foot abseil for 48 participants near to his home town of Newton Stewart; acknowledges that the group raised over £6,300 for the charity, which will go towards its "Research means everything" campaign to raise vital funds for life-saving stroke research; notes reports that there are around 19,200 stroke survivors in the South of Scotland, and wishes Stewart and the other 48 participants all the very best with future fundraising challenges.
