  • Submitted by: Liam Kerr, North East Scotland, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Friday, 17 June 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-04926

That the Parliament welcomes the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival’s return to Portsoy Harbour, taking place on 18 and 19 June 2022; notes that the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival includes the Scottish historic fishing fleet, alongside maritime craft, sailing and rowing events, music and dance, with festivalgoers able to sample a wide range of local fare and produce; understands that the festival is set to attract 16,000 people across the two days and will see more than 38 food and drink vendors, and hopes that the event is a great success.
