That the Parliament congratulates Tranent Juniors FC on the club’s success in being promoted to the Scottish Lowland Football League (SLFL) for the first time in its history; notes that the promotion, regarded as one of the greatest moments in the club’s history, was secured following a 2-0 win over the West of Scotland Football League champions, Darvel FC, in the deciding playoff match; congratulates the players, staff, supporters and volunteers who help run the club on this great achievement, and wishes the Belters all the best for their first season in the SLFL.
