That the Parliament welcomes the new plans by Aberdeenshire Council, endorsed by the Macduff Harbour’s advisory committee, to introduce an “e-fish” market, allowing customers to place orders online; understands that there is a large demand for an online market, which, it believes, will mean smaller buyers will have a better chance of buying fish and fisherman will get a fairer price for their catch; applauds this innovation, which, it considers, will provide more jobs for the local area and create a new market for local fisherman, and hopes that this a great success.
