Queen's Award for John Lawrie Group

That the Parliament congratulates John Lawrie Group on being a recipient of the Queen's Awards for Enterprise; understands that these awards were given to 232 businesses throughout the UK; further understands that the awards were created in 1965 following the recommendation of a committee chaired by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh; commends John Lawrie Group in its work in the reuse and recycling of industrial metals, and acknowledges the significance of the programme, which, it understands is the highest official UK awards that can be given to British businesses for innovation and performance.
