That the Parliament congratulates the Twisted Blisters team on winning the autumn Step Count Challenge, which was organised for workplaces by Scottish walking charity, Paths for All; understands that the five-strong team, which also won in 2019, is made up of Shetland Islands Council employees; further understands that one of the group achieved one million steps in the four-week period that the walking challenge took place and that each member walked on average three times each day; commends Paths for All for its work on the Step Count Challenge, which works with employers across the country to support and motivate people to get active; understands that since 2011, the Step Count Challenge has had over 30,000 participants; believes that walking has both mental and physical health benefits, and encourages organisations and individuals to take part in the next Step Count Challenge in May 2022.
