Questions and answers

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)

To ask the Scottish Government for what reason NHS Grampian's funding for children's mental health services has reportedly reduced, in light of it reportedly being the worst performing board in terms of the 18-week waiting time standard, meeting it in only 33.1% of cases.

To ask the Scottish Government for what reason Aberdeen City reportedly experienced an almost £7 billion loss in revenue from sales in primary industries in 2016-17, in light of its news release of 13 September 2017 in which the Minister for Business, Innovation and Energy states that the approximate sales value of oil and gas in that financial year is estimated to be 15.2% higher than in 2015-16.
