To ask the Scottish Government what anti-bullying projects it has supported in 2015-16 and how much funding it has provided to each project.

The Scottish Government wholly fund respectme, Scotland's national anti-bullying service, to build confidence and capacity to tackle bullying effectively. respectme's programme of work is aligned to the National Approach to Anti-bullying for Scotland's Children and Young People, which is available at http://www.gov.scot/Publications/2010/11/12120420/0. respectme is managed by Scottish Association for Mental Health in partnership with LGBT Youth Scotland.

We have fully funded respectme since its inception in 2007 and in 2015-16 we provided funding of £289,340.

respectme provide direct support to local authorities, schools, youth groups and all those working with children and young people. This includes reviewing, formulating, implementing and evaluating locally relevant anti-bullying policies and providing training, information and support with guidelines, procedures and monitoring.

respectme and LGBT Youth Scotland are part of a Scottish Government-led working group established to refresh the National Approach to Anti-bullying for Scotland's Children and Young People in line with recent policy developments, including the Children and Young People Act, Equalities Act and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

In addition, we also support Childline to provide confidential advice and information to children and young people affected by issues including bullying. In 2015-16 we provided £115,200.

To ask the Scottish Government what information it has on the (a) size and (b) value of vacant and derelict land in each year since 2011.

Information on the amount of urban vacant and derelict land for local authorities and Scotland for the years 2008 to 2014 is published in table 4 of the Scottish Vacant and Derelict Land Survey 2014. Information on the average size of derelict sites is published in table 6.

In addition there is a site register that gives record level information for all vacant and derelict sites in the survey, this can be found here:

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will provide an update on the Clyde and Hebrides ferry services tendering process.

The Clyde and Hebrides ferry services tender remains on course for announcement of the successful operator at the end of May 2016.

The Independent Procurement Reference Panel’s review of the initial invitation to tender was published on 3 November 2015 and stated that the tender process was being undertaken in a fair, open and transparent manner. I am pleased to advise members that the panel’s review of the interim invitation to tender is being published today (17 December 2015) and confirms that this remains the case.
