I have asked John Ewing, Chief Executive of the Scottish Prison Service, to respond. His response is as follows:
Sex Offender Treatment Programmes are currently scheduled to run in HMP Edinburgh, Barlinnie, Glenochil, Peterhead and Polmont. There is no current plan to increase this.

The Violence Prevention Programme currently runs in HMP Shotts and Edinburgh. It will extend to HMP Low Moss when it opens in Spring 2012.
