Questions and answers

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Government, in light of 3,161 care experienced young people being eligible for the Continuing Care provision but only 177 young people, which is 6%, having requested or been offered the option to remain in care, what plans it has to address this issue.

To ask the Scottish Government what its position is on whether the appropriate training for licence holders in relation to authorising, managing or supervising the sale of alcohol is the Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (Refresher) course, with the exam based on course content taught on the day.
