To ask the Scottish Government whether it will consider discounting any periods of maternity leave in its assessments of self-employed women in each year since 2017 for COVID-19 self-employed business support, on the basis that the period of time away from work on maternity leave will reduce the average profits over the assessment period and consequently potentially reduce the amount of financial support that women receive.
