Questions and answers

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S4W-12861 by Keith Brown on 28 February 2013, when the decision was taken not to include in the Infrastructure Investment Plan 2015 the reference to a Scottish section of high speed rail that was contained in the Infrastructure Investment Plan project pipeline update published in January 2013.
