To ask the Scottish Executive how much money has been (a) allocated to and (b) spent on, projects in each of the six areas designated under the Fairshare programme between the Community Fund and the New Opportunities Fund since the programme was established.
Answer
The distribution of national lottery funds is a matter for the Lottery Distribution Bodies: Scottish Arts Council, Scottish Screen,
sportscotland, New Opportunities Fund, Community Fund, Heritage Lottery Fund and Millennium Commission. The information requested is not held centrally.
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport maintains a database of national lottery awards on their website which sets out the total awarded to each constituency area and each local authority area for each lottery good cause.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether any funds from the Scottish Prison Service's (SPS) budget are being used to support the operation of Dungavel House immigration removal centre and, if so, how much is being used, expressed as a percentage of the total SPS budget and in actual cash terms.

To ask the Scottish Executive what percentage of the budget for the proposed on-line upgrade of the A80 will deal specifically with any groundworks difficulties, or old mine workings, on the proposed route.

It is too early in the design process to estimate. This will only be known after the ground investigation is completed.

To ask the Scottish Executive when it will publish the fully-developed proposals and draft road orders for the proposed on-line upgrade of the A80.
Answer
We intend to publish draft orders for the route in three phases. The first phase, Mollinsburn to Low Wood, is planned to be published later this year. Phase 2 Auchenkilns to Haggs and phase 3 Moodiesburn Bypass are planned for publication in 2004.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will provide a comparator, based on any real or hypothetical alternative route, in its environmental impact statement relating to the proposed on-line upgrade of the A80.
Answer
Comparisons of the environmental impact of alternative route options were made at an earlier stage to inform the decision on the preferred route. The environmental statements will detail the impact of the preferred on-line route and summarise those other options considered.

To ask the Presiding Officer, further to the answers to questions S2W-1566, S2W-1567, S2W-1568 and S2W-1569 by Mr Duncan McNeil on 6 August 2003, whether the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB) has any plans to compensate any staff whose personal pension payments and arrangements have been adversely affected by the decision to withdraw from the direct debit scheme and what the reasons are for its position on this matter.
Answer
The SPCB has noplans to compensate any staff whose personal pension payments and arrangementshave been adversely affected by the decision to change the method of paymentand withdraw from the direct debit scheme. The SPCB has complied with itsobligations under the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority and ensuredthat all contributions were and are paid over to pension providers within theset deadlines.
