To ask the Scottish Executive when the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing will meet a cross-party delegation of MSPs to discuss community concerns regarding the threat to the future of the St Margaret of Scotland Hospice, Clydebank.
Answer
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde are responsible for planning, providing and securing the provision of NHS services for its population. The St Margaret of Scotland Hospice receives NHS funding for particular services which it provides and the nature of these services determines the type of funding provided.
As I have indicated previously, I have asked NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde to discuss the development of substantive options for future service provision with the board of St Margaret''s. A number of meetings have already taken place and arrangements have been made to meet again before the end of this month, at which time the board of St Margaret''s will respond to the options put forward by the health board. I therefore do not consider that the meeting suggested by the member would be helpful at this time, I will, of course, be happy to reconsider the request should circumstances change.

Government planning officials, through their routine planning liaison responsibilities, received in early December, the agenda for the Cairngorms National Park Authority''s meeting on 14 December. This referred to a number of proposed development applications, including the Laurel Grant proposal, which were to be discussed at the meeting.
