Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will detail all of the projects for which funding has been allocated from the Freight Facilities Grant, including in particular the value of grants given to date; how much of the #18.3 million available for Freight Facilities Grants from 1999-2000 to 2001-02 remains to be allocated, and how many road-miles are expected to be made unnecessary as a result of projects funded through the Freight Facilities Grant, broken down by project.
