To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-27534 by Lewis Macdonald on 8 August 2002, whether the original Invergarry-Kyle of Lochalsh Trunk Road (A87) Extension (Skye Bridge Crossing) Toll Order 1992 specified the maximum tolls chargeable for vehicles using the crossing.
Answer
The Invergarry-Kyle of Lochalsh A87 Extension (Skye Bridge Crossing) Toll Order 1992 contained, in Schedule 1, a table of base tolls, and specified how those base tolls would be used to calculate the maximum tolls chargeable during each calendar year. The provisions of the 1992 order were updated by the 1997 and 1999 variation orders.
