To ask the Scottish Executive how many new health centres opened in each year since 1997, broken down by NHS board.
Answer
This information is not held centrally. Decisions on the provision of new hospitals, health centres and other facilities are devolved to NHS boards. However, we are in the process of collecting the information from NHS boards and a consolidated list of the information provided by them will be placed in the Scottish Parliament Information Centre (Bib. number 46919).
