I have been inundated with correspondence from people who have asked me to support the bill. That is unsurprising, given that Glasgow Kelvin is such a rich, intersectional and diverse constituency. Does Joe FitzPatrick agree that those of us who do not understand the experience of gender incongruence should listen to those who do, and that streamlining the process for obtaining a GRC will help to create a kinder system that treats people with dignity and gives them the autonomy that they deserve, which will allow them to enjoy their life as their whole, authentic self?

I welcome the continued investment in our education system. Can the minister advise how education spending in Scotland compares with that in the rest of the UK? [Interruption.]

I have previously raised with the minister the option of modifying rule 3 of the Tenements (Scotland) Act 2004 to the effect that factors and people living in multi-owner properties—which describes 95 per cent of the housing in my Glasgow Kelvin constituency—be empowered to introduce, with the agreement of a simple majority of tenants, energy saving measures such as electric vehicle charging points, solar panels or anything else that is proven to have an impact on CO2 emissions. That simple modification would produce immediate economic and environmental benefits, and there are no obvious downsides to there being no further delay. Would the minister give serious consideration to making that very simple modification, as a matter of urgency?

Does the Deputy First Minister agree that it would be good to know whether, ahead of tomorrow’s budget statement, Sharon Dowey or any of her Tory colleagues have made any representations to the UK Government about Scotland being granted borrowing powers to allow the Scottish Government to manage its budget effectively and respond to the repeated economic shocks that have been created by the ill-judged and damaging economic policies of the UK Government?

Does Annie Wells accept the hypocrisy of Westminster using one hand to donate money to the Ukraine efforts but using the other hand to keep asylum seekers—many of whom are fleeing wars—in inhumane conditions in the Manston immigration centre, where children go missing, there have been diphtheria outbreaks and people have died?
