We might think that an increase in the number of people who are motivated to claim ADP will result in an increase in claims for carers allowance and carers allowance supplement. Is there a direct correlation between two or more of those, or do you think that the memories of the barriers to claiming carers allowance will still deter some people, to an extent?

Is there any current spending in the budget that should be transferred into areas in which you want more money to be spent?

Good morning, panel.
Dame Susan, you estimated that the cost of the adult disability payment will be higher than that of PIP by some margin. How much of that is due to a more compassionate approach in promoting take-up and dealing with claims?

The minister will agree that reliable and efficient railways are the backbone of the transport system. My constituents have raised concerns regarding the impact of the proposed changes to the trains on the Milngavie line. There is also no doubt that the pandemic has had a significant impact on passenger numbers. What assurances can the Scottish Government give that the views of my constituents will be fully considered by ScotRail?

Many victim support organisations across the country do valuable work to assist victims of crime. Since its inception, how has the victim surcharge fund supported such organisations in the Clydebank and Milngavie constituency?

As the minister will know, my constituency has a well-known water border, the River Clyde, which has significant links to Scotland’s shipbuilding past and present. However, because of the industrial past of the Clyde and surrounding areas, the river has been deeply affected. Can the minister outline plans to prevent future contamination, in order to improve the water quality of the Clyde, particularly for habitats and biodiversity?

We want to encourage claims for ADP. Although it is early days, is the panel aware of any lessons that we can learn from the initial implementation of child disability payment? I pose that question to Frank McKillop.
