Agenda item 2 is the choice of a deputy convener. In accordance with rule 12.4 of the standing orders of the Parliament, it has been agreed that a member of the Liberal Democrat party should be eligible as deputy convener. I accordingly ask the committee to agree that John Farquhar Munro be chosen as deputy convener of the Transport and the Environment Committee.
