Temporary Convener

Murray Tosh (Oldest Committee Member):

Good morning everybody, and welcome to the 13th meeting of the Subordinate Legislation Committee in 2006. We have received apologies from Sylvia Jackson, Gordon Jackson and Jamie Stone. As neither the convener nor the deputy convener is present today, under rule 12.1 of the standing orders, the committee must choose a temporary convener for the meeting. I am content to act in that capacity today, if members are content for me to do so.

Murray Tosh was chosen as temporary convener.

That is agreed. Thank you.

I am told that we do not have to agree to take item 7 in private, as that was covered under a previous decision.
