Scotland Against Crooked Lawyers (PE361)
Agenda item 2 is consideration of petition PE361, from Scotland Against Crooked Lawyers. I assume that members have had sight of the petition. We have two alternatives. We could simply close our consideration of the petition, or we could confirm to the petitioners that, as they know, we are conducting an inquiry into the regulation of the legal profession and their position and comments will be taken into account. The latter option is perhaps better. Do members agree that that would be the better approach?
