I regret that, even before we move to formal business, I must ask members to agree to discuss items 2, 5 and 6 in private. It is unfortunate, but if members consider those items, they will see that there is no alternative. I have had a word with the clerks about trying in future to deal first with the committee's public business, although that will not always be possible.
