Family Law (Scotland) Bill (Witness Expenses)

The Convener:

Item 2 is witness expenses in relation to the Family Law (Scotland) Bill. We have approximately four claims at the moment, none of which is particularly controversial. As members will know from previous experience, I usually ask the committee to delegate to me under rule 12.4.3 of standing orders responsibility for arranging payment of any witness expenses that relate to our consideration of a bill. Is that agreed in this instance?

Members indicated agreement.

We move on to item 3. As previously agreed, the committee will meet in private to consider its stage 1 report on the Family Law (Scotland) Bill.

Meeting continued in private until 13:05.
