I welcome everyone to the 17th meeting of the Public Petitions Committee this year. I apologise to the members of the public for the delay in starting the meeting—it is entirely members' fault. On MSPs' behalf, I thank members of the public for their forbearance in waiting patiently for so long for the committee to get under way.
