Decision on Taking Business in Private

The Convener (Iain Gray)

Welcome, everyone, to this morning’s meeting of the Public Audit Committee. I welcome the press and the public, as well as members. I ask everyone present to ensure that their phone is off. The only apologies that we have received are from Mark Griffin. Neil Bibby is substituting for him—welcome, Neil. As this is the first time that Neil has attended the committee, I invite him to declare any interests that he needs to declare.

Thanks, convener. I declare that I am a member of the trade unions Unite and Community.

Thank you, Neil.

The first item on our agenda is to decide whether to take item 6 in private. Does the committee agree to do that?

Members indicated agreement.
