Decision on Taking Business in Private

I welcome everyone to the fifth meeting in 2010 of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee. We have received no apologies, as far as I am aware.
Item 1 is a decision on whether to take items 3 and 4 in private. Item 3 relates to a request from the Scottish Parliamentary Standards Commissioner for a direction. The committee has always considered such items in private. Item 4 is further consideration of accuracy of contributions in parliamentary proceedings; the committee will discuss how to take the matter forward. Do members agree to take the items in private?
