Budget Adviser

Agenda item 3 is on the budget process. It is recommended that the committee consider the contents of our report on the budget process, confirm its intention to appoint an adviser for this year's budget process and approve the terms of reference for the adviser. Are members happy to do so?

Members indicated agreement.

The time allowed for the adviser is inadequate, but apart from that—
