Welcome to the first meeting in 2003 of the Public Petitions Committee. We have received apologies from Winnie Ewing. I am sure that I speak on behalf of all members when I say that our deepest sympathies and condolences go to Winnie, Fergus, Margaret and the whole Ewing family for the very tragic loss that they suffered recently. Our thoughts are with Winnie and the rest of the Ewing family.
