Decision on Taking Business in Private

Good morning and welcome to the Justice Committee’s 14th meeting in 2013. I ask everyone to switch off mobile phones and other electronic devices completely, as they interfere with the broadcasting system, even when they are switched to silent. Apologies have been received from David McLetchie; John Lamont is attending as his substitute.

Agenda item 1 is a decision on taking business in private. I propose that we take item 4 in private, as it involves consideration of potential witnesses for our follow-up round-table evidence session on prison healthcare, which is due to take place on 28 May. Do members agree that we should take item 4 in private?
