Interests

I welcome everyone to the seventh meeting this year of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee. I welcome Angela Constance to the committee. I want to put on record our thanks to Dave Thompson, who performed extremely well on the committee. We will miss his thoughtful contributions, which brought a lot of depth to the committee. I am sure that members agree.

I invite Angela Constance to declare interests.

I always like to declare, for the record, that prior to being elected as a member of the Scottish Parliament I was a social worker and local government councillor. I am aware that I am not required to declare that, but I prefer to do so.
