Interests

Good morning, colleagues. I welcome everyone to the seventh meeting in 2011 of the Justice Committee and ask everyone to switch off their mobile phones and other electronic paraphernalia, please.

Apologies have been received from Mr Stewart Maxwell. I welcome Maureen Watt, who will act as his substitute.

Under agenda item 1, I ask John Lamont to declare any interests that are relevant to the committee’s remit.

I refer members to the interests that I have already disclosed. In particular, I refer them to the fact that I am a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and a former employee of Brodies LLP.
