The next item of business is consideration of business motion S2M-1528, in the name of Patricia Ferguson, on behalf of the Parliamentary Bureau, setting out a timetable for stage 3 consideration of the Local Governance (Scotland) Bill.
Motion moved,
That the Parliament agrees that, during Stage 3 of the Local Governance (Scotland) Bill, debate on each part of the proceedings shall be brought to a conclusion by the time-limits indicated (each time-limit being calculated from when the Stage begins and excluding any periods when other business is under consideration or when the meeting of the Parliament is suspended or otherwise not in progress):
Groups 1 to 5 – no later than 1 hour and 10 minutes
Group 6 – no later than 1 hour 20 minutes
Groups 7 and 8 – no later than 1 hour and 50 minutes
Group 9 – no later than 1 hour and 55 minutes
