Points of Order

On a point of order, Presiding Officer.

On a point of order, Presiding Officer.

There are two points of order. I think that I heard Tricia Marwick first.

Tricia Marwick:

The Parliament has just disagreed with the Rural Affairs Committee, which recommended that the Protection of Wild Mammals (Scotland) Bill could not be amended. In circumstances in which a committee has recommended that a bill cannot be amended but the Parliament does not agree, it is logical that the bill is not referred back to that committee for amendment at stage 2.

I ask you to take the matter to the Parliamentary Bureau and ask it, and the business managers, where the bill should go at stage 2.

The Presiding Officer:

Strictly speaking, that is not a point of order, but you are correct to suggest that it is a matter for the Parliamentary Bureau to discuss, which it will do at its next meeting on Tuesday.

Is yours the same point of order, Mr Fergusson?

I withdraw my point of order.
