Official Report 313KB pdf
The next item on the agenda is consideration of the committee's draft annual report. Do members have any initial comments? We might have to bring this item back to a future meeting, because I have not really had time to look at it.
I think that the word "extremely" has been omitted from the second sentence of the introduction. It should read "members of the committee have been kept extremely hard at work."
I invite members to e-mail their comments to the clerk.
The report is fine. Why do we have to do anything more to it?
I do not want to discuss the issue just now, but in future we will have to talk about the fact that so far all our meetings have been held in Edinburgh. We might have an opportunity to stick to the Parliament's founding principles and take the committee elsewhere.
Can I recommend that the committee come to Ayrshire?
I second that.
How did I know that you were going to say that, Irene? Sometimes you do not surprise me.
Irene, you have been voted down by three votes to two.
