Good afternoon, colleagues. Welcome to the fourth meeting of the European Committee of 2002. Now that we are quorate, we will make a start. I have received apologies from Helen Eadie and Ben Wallace. I understand that Nora Radcliffe has to attend another meeting on behalf of Euan Robson and will be a little late.
Before we move on to item 2, I take this opportunity on behalf of the committee to thank Juliette Tandel, our visiting researcher. This is her last week with us and she will soon head back to Germany to complete her studies there. We appreciate the support that she has given to the team and wish her all the best.
Hear, hear.
That was a good, traditional Scottish send-off from Dennis.
