Temporary Convener

At its previous meeting, the committee agreed to hold a meeting in the Western Isles as part of our consideration of what is happening with the Western Isles NHS Board.

Unfortunately, neither I nor Murdo Fraser are available on that date, so we need someone to act as a temporary convener for the meeting on 11 January. Five committee members are going.

Alasdair Allan and Mary Scanlon will also be joining us.

Are there any thoughts about a temporary convener, or any volunteers?

I suggest Andrew Welsh, convener.

Is that agreed?

Members indicated agreement.

Thank you. We do not want to give him any chance to protest.

Exactly. When will we get details of the practical arrangements?

By the end of this week.
