Good morning and welcome to the 31st meeting this year of the Enterprise and Lifelong Learning Committee. Before we start, I should say that we have apologies from George Lyon and Margo MacDonald, who will join us later. I welcome to the committee Bill Butler, who is the new member of the Scottish Parliament and the new member of this committee.

Unfortunately, this will be the last meeting for two members—Duncan McNeil and Elaine Murray. On behalf of the committee, I thank you both for the sterling work that you have done over the past 18 months; it is much appreciated.
