Decision on Taking Business in Private

Good morning and welcome to the third meeting in 2013 of the European and External Relations Committee. I make the usual request that all electronic devices and mobile phones be switched off because they interfere with the broadcasting equipment.

Under agenda item 1, I seek members’ agreement to take in private item 6 on the Scottish Government country plans, and item 7 on our European Union Commission work programme report. Do members agree?

Members indicated agreement.

We have a change to our plans this morning because our witnesses have been held up slightly. I therefore seek members’ agreement to postpone item 2 until their arrival and to move straight on to item 3. Do members agree?

Members indicated agreement.

The clerks will inform us when the witnesses arrive.
