Meeting continued in public.

I welcome everyone to the third meeting in 2003 of the Audit Committee. I ask that all mobile phones and pagers be switched off. The only apologies that I have received are from Lloyd Quinan.

I offer my apologies for being late.

I welcome David Davidson to the meeting.

As previously agreed, today's meeting began in private to allow us to consider the lines of questioning that we wish to put to witnesses under agenda item 4. That is in line with our standard practice.
