During dissolution, there are no MSPs and no parliamentary business can take place.

Welcome to the third meeting in 2019 of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee. We have received apologies from our colleague Elaine Smith MSP. Unfortunately, she is not able to be with us today.

Agenda item 1 is a decision on whether to take agenda item 2, which is consideration of correspondence that the committee has received, in private. Do members agree to take agenda item 2 in private?
