Decision on Taking Business in Private

The Convener (Linda Fabiani)

Welcome to the fourth meeting in 2019 of the Committee on the Scottish Government Handling of Harassment Complaints. I ask all those present to turn off any electronic devices that might interfere with proceedings.

Under agenda item 1, I ask members to agree to take item 2 in private, to allow us to consider letters from the First Minister and the permanent secretary to the Scottish Government. As members will know, both letters have already been circulated and published online.

If members so agree, and as I have done at previous meetings of the committee, I intend then to move the meeting back into public session, to announce any decisions that the committee might have taken during its discussions in private.

Members indicated agreement.
