Decision on Taking Business in Private

Welcome to the fifth meeting in 2011 of the Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee. Members and the public should turn off their mobile phones and BlackBerrys, as leaving them in flight mode or on silent will affect the broadcasting system, and we have a large audience out there who would like to hear what is going on. I have received no apologies for absence. I welcome Jean Urquhart, who is sitting in on the meeting.

Under agenda item 1, I seek the committee’s agreement to take in private agenda item 5, on the consideration of candidates for the post of budget adviser. Do members agree to take that item in private?
