Members will recall our discussion on the single market act. Ian Duncan has helpfully provided a paper, which notes that the single market act will comprise about 50 legislative and non-legislative initiatives, many of which will be important to Scotland. In particular, there are implications for local government, the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities and the Local Government and Communities Committee. I suggest that we write to the committee and COSLA about the analysis that we have undertaken and open the door to our further involvement if we are needed. Are members content with that approach?
