City of Edinburgh Council (Leith Links and Surplus Fire Fund) Bill: Consideration Stage
Good morning, everyone. I remind you all to switch off mobile phones and other electronic devices. We have received apologies from Bruce Crawford. This is the first meeting in 2014 of the City of Edinburgh Council (Leith Links and Surplus Fire Fund) Bill Committee.
The only item on our agenda is the consideration stage of the City of Edinburgh Council (Leith Links and Surplus Fire Fund) Bill. We have no amendments to deal with but, under standing orders, we are obliged to consider the sections of the bill and the long title and agree to each formally.
Sections 1 to 8 agreed to.
Long title agreed to.
That ends the consideration stage of the bill. I thank my colleagues on the committee for the time that they have taken to consider the bill and to take part in the preliminary stage debate. I also thank the promoter and witnesses for their contributions and the clerks for all their hard work during the past few months.
The next stage of the bill is the final stage, when the whole Parliament will vote on whether to pass the bill. If members have any amendments to lodge, they should do so at that stage.
Meeting closed at 09:32.
