Decision on Taking Business in Private

Good morning. I welcome members to the Education and Culture Committee’s 17th meeting in 2012. I remind members and those in the public gallery that mobile phones and all other electronic devices should be switched off at all times. No apologies have been received, so I expect all members to be here shortly. I welcome to the meeting Patricia Ferguson MSP, who has asked to join us for agenda item 2.
