Items in Private

The Convener (Bristow Muldoon):

Under item 1 on our agenda, I will suggest that we take the rest of today's items in private. I apologise that a number of such items have come together. However, there are legitimate reasons for taking them in private and I will cover those reasons now.

Item 2 is on our draft report on the budget process. Our normal procedure is to consider draft reports in private. Do members agree to consider the draft report in private?

Members indicated agreement.

The Convener:

Item 3 is on the proposed antisocial behaviour bill. We will consider the committee's likely approach to scrutinising the Executive's bill. That will include consideration of the witnesses to call and the range of evidence to hear. Do members agree to consider item 3 in private?

Members indicated agreement.

The situation is similar for item 4, which is on the draft Local Governance (Scotland) Bill. We will be considering our scrutiny of the bill. Do members agree that we should do so in private?

Members indicated agreement.

The Convener:

Finally, and in a similar vein, under item 5 we will consider our scrutiny of the Prostitution Tolerance Zones (Scotland) Bill—the witnesses to call and the range of evidence to hear. Do members agree that we should do so in private?

Members indicated agreement.

Meeting continued in private until 16.15.
