I bring today's meeting of the Local Government and Transport Committee to order. We have one quick item to consider before we move on to today's main item, which is evidence taking.

Item 4 is consideration of whether to request an extension to the contract of the committee's adviser on the freight transport inquiry. Does the committee agree to discuss that in private?

Members indicated agreement.
